*General Information
Willamette Education Service District is accepting applications for a full-time (40 hours per week) Preschool Instructor position. The position requires Oregon Registry Step 8 or higher. Successful candidate will work as a member of the Early Learning Department and will follow a 190-day calendar. This position will be based at the Willamette ESD in Falls City, OR and will begin as soon as possible upon conclusion of the selection process.
*Duties, Responsibilities & Qualifications
The Preschool Instructor is responsible for the general supervision, management, and instruction of preschool age children. This includes improving student success through implementing program approved curriculum; documenting instruction and student progress/activities/outcomes; developing lesson plans; modeling skills to perform assignments; providing a safe and optimal learning environment and providing feedback to students, parents, and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc. The Preschool Instructor will promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of enrolled children through age-appropriate instruction and progress monitoring/assessment of each child. The Preschool Instructor is not responsible for grades, special education paperwork, or standardized assessments for eligibility. The Preschool Instructor is responsible for implementing a general education preschool curriculum in alignment with other state funded public preschool program.

*Salary and Benefits
This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) Classified position represented by the Oregon School Employees Association.
Placement on the Willamette ESD Classified Salary Schedule Range 19, Step 1-6; ($26.49-$33.88 per hour) will be commensurate with applicant’s qualifications, relevant training and experience. Pay rates shown are based upon 2022-2025 classified bargaining agreement; and are subject to change based upon the outcome of new collective bargaining agreement.
