POSITION: Middle School Social Studies Teacher 25/26 SY

JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Social Studies Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of historical events, with experience developing engaging lesson plans that are aligned to U.S. History, World History and state curriculum standards.

SALARY RANGE: $44, 038 to $84,954 a year- Full time ( Prorated for the remainder of 25/26)

Placement on the salary schedule will be commensurate with education and experience and will follow District policy GCBA.

BENEFITS: Employer paid insurance CAP to assist with health, dental, and vision premiums, employer paid Basic Life and AD&D policies. Two (2) days of personal leave, ten (10) days sick leave, seven (7) paid holidays, and a generous PERS retirement contribution (if applicable) for a full-time position. Harrisburg operates on a 4-day school week M-TH.

QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Oregon Teacher’s License with appropriate endorsement and authorization level required.
