GROUNDS & MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
Full-Time | 12-Month Position
Jewell School District is seeking a skilled and motivated Grounds and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. In this full-time role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our school facilities, grounds, and maintenance staff, ensuring a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for students and staff alike.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with hands-on experience in facility maintenance, including working knowledge of water systems, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, as this role involves coordinating a maintenance team and managing vendor relationships.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting routine safety inspections and ensuring compliance with regulations
Overseeing and performing facility repairs as needed
Managing and mentoring the grounds and maintenance team
Coordinating with outside vendors and contractors
