The North Clackamas School District seeks a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic and long-range leadership and planning, as well as daily operations work. The CFO manages accounting, finance, budgeting, purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, benefits, risk management, courier and warehouse services.

Compensation depends on experience. Annual salary: $120,000 +

The CFO supervises the Director of Business Operations (responsible for Purchasing, Contracts, Accounts Payable, Risk Management, Couriers, Warehouse, Surplus Property), Supervisor of Payroll (responsible for Payroll and Benefits), and Classified and Confidential Staff (Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Federal Meal Applications, Cash Management, Accounts Payable).
The ideal candidate has a master’s degree in business or bachelor’s degree plus equivalent experience, at least five years of budgeting and finance experience – including at least two years as a school business administrator. Strong accounting experience is required and a Certified Public Accountant is preferred.
North Clackamas School District serves 17,000 students and has 24 neighborhood schools. In 2014-2015, the district is forecasted to have a $159 million General Fund budget with over 5% fund balance. The district has a positive work environment with a strong, stable, experienced leadership team.
